Smart – Paws K9 Academy Before We Start;

 As a trainer, parent and human. I am a big fan of honesty. I do not wish to “fix” or “punish” your K9 whatsoever. That’s where understanding comes in. I want to understand who, what, when, where and why.  To use backwards and forward chaining to redirect behavior and reinforce the correct response. I will use their natural behaviors to the best of my ability for a more positive outcome.

 My whole goal as a new trainer and business owner is to create a good client relationship and to be helpful in any way possible! I do have some schooling under my belt, and the resume is even longer when it comes to life experiences. But all in all, I am still learning and I truly love that! I love to learn and understand new things. Why one thing might work better for one than another for all varieties of different fury friends. I will be upfront and forward if I think the job is above my head or if we are not making any progress with appropriate timing. Refunds will vary in such situations.

Puppy training courses or basic commands; This will be one - on - one sessions with me as the handler. 45-minute sessions. Ideally 30 minutes of training with a little extra time to get any wiggles out before hand and some much-rewarded play time after. 6 sessions in total all together, inquiring you as the owner for the last three. Basic commands include; Sit, lay down, stay and come. I will also begin or continue with any leash training.

IF requested; Crate/kennel training along with prolonged leash and “Heel” training. I can add jogging next to a stroller, bicycle, etc.

Consultations; 45-minute consults for any behavioral concerns or nutritional questions you may have. Also, any puppy questions I am happy to answer to the best of my ability! IF I am unable to answer a question right then or need to do some research I most definitely will. My whole goal is to help you and your fury-family member grow a better connection and have a better understanding of each other.

Desensitization or Response Correction; One on One sessions with your pet and getting them used to or correcting their response of loud noises. The “Chase the Tire” game and larger equipment. Also socialized with other well experienced K9 friends that have helped with multiple foster cases. Exposure to K9 friendly farm animals such as our girly goats and Bob the horse. Getting the familiarity of having children or new baby in a home like setting teaching your pet they can have their own quiet space.

Special Needs K9’s; These K9’s includes ones that are 3 legged, deaf and or blind. These K9’s I can shape with commands to best fit their needs and your ability’s.

Boarding Offers; I do offer boarding here in the Puppy Palace. The Puppy Palace is our home garage that has been converted to the dog’s personal room. I have kennels that can house 5 - 150-pound K9’s.

ONLY FOR K9’S IN TRAINING OR BEING BOARDED – I apologize for the inconvenience.

Upon Request;

1.      Bathing with a good brush - $15

2.      Nail Trim - $20

3.      Medication administration injection OR oral - $6

4.      Specialty diets - $7

Day Boarding; 8 hours $20 – minimum of 2 walks and 3 hours of outside time per decent weather. I will feed meals and give medication as needed. Home comfort for minimum of 2 hours. K9’s can stay inside longer if all is well and manners can be managed!

Over-night Boarding; 24 hours $40 – same credentials as Day Boarding but overnight kenneling in the puppy palace followed by their own quarters to eat and have their own personal comfort belongings. Our elders that have sleep overs per K9 manners and sociability can sleep in the human house quarters. 24/7 surveillance from 2 separate cameras the capability to communicate through my phone if necessary.

Basic Training and Puppy Foundation;

·         45-minute session in total for $30 and if you purchase the group of 6 sessions, I will take 15% off.

·         Day boarding (8 hours) with training session $45

Desensitization and Socializing; “Social Hour” per say.

·         1-hour sessions for $45 – Group of 6 sessions get 15% off

·         Day boarding (8 Hours) with training session for $60

 Leash Training; All Leash training with day boarding will be whatever the session costs +$10

·         40-minute session for $25

·         “Heel” off leash training 45-minute session for $35

·         Leash training with an object 45-minute session for $35
